Department of ENT, case of Penetrating Neck Injury (Zone-2) operated by us on 12-07-2022.
28 yrs old male patient presented to our hospital with penetrating neck injury in the Zone-2 area with complete transection of larynx at the level of thyrohyoid membrane.
This case was managed by an emergency tracheostomy under local anaesthesia followed by reconstruction of the laryngeal and pharyngeal framework under general anaesthesia.
